Pacific Edge Hotel, Laguna Beach

The hotel location is stellar, right on the beach and ocean with easy walking access to Laguna Village. The staff are friendly and professional, but there were unexpected charges. The rooms, although disappointing with lack of privacy, sit right on top of the deck bar which can be noisy.

This hotel is perfect if you love being close to the beach and enjoy a lively downtown area. The rooms offer a mix of amenities, but cleanliness could be improved. The service is exceptional with helpful and kind staff. The location is ideal for beach lovers and those who want easy access to shops and restaurants. Some areas may need refurbishment, but overall a great base for a beach getaway.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, while peaceful and beautifully designed, could have been cozier with more decorations. The hotel provided a peaceful and beautiful space to relax and unwind, but the musty cave-like smell in the room was intolerable. The lack of a mirror outside the washroom area was a downside to the stay. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, although the noise from revving motorcycles disturbed the peace. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront, but there was room for improvement in updating the rooms and building. The dining experience at Driftwood Kitchen was fabulous.

I felt like I hit the jackpot with this hotel since it offers a great location close to the beach and many dining options. The rooms are quite spacious and give you that 'home away from home' feel.
